Looking to start up your fitness journey but don't know where to begin? Try your luck with this minimalistic and casual fitness journal. It gives you enough of what you need if you're just a beginner to allow for discovery of what works for you, while also being structured enough that you can keep on track. I used this template when starting out my fitness journey back in 2022 and it was incredibly therapeutic as well as motivational to continue, I am now 1 year in and still going. I did add a couple extra things that I didn't have at the start of my journey but wished I did. I suggest using this product on a tablet or computer for easy erasure each month, but this can be printed out as well if you prefer.

Pages Include :

  • Before and After Measurements : Take your pre-journey measurements before you begin your fitness journey and then take your measurements at your preferred milestone (6 months, 1 year, 2 year etc.) to see how far you've come.
  • Motivation for Starting Fitness Journey : Use as a personal journal entry page to get out your thoughts of why you want to start your fitness journey, it can also be used as a letter to your future self to reflect back on at a period of time during your journey. 
  • Undated Calendar : At the beginning of each month write out the month and days, then color in on your calendar the days you worked out. You can even color code it to match the type of workout you did that day as well for some extra spice (ex : upper body (red), lower body (blue), etc.) 
  • Favorite/Least Favorite Products & Workout Routine : List what products worked and didn't work for you that month so you can keep track of what products to recommend to friends to use, or as a shopping list of what products to keep investing in. If your workout routine changes every now and then as well you can write down whatever additions or subtractions you've made for that month. If nothing has changed simply checkmark the box in the upper left corner of the box. 
  • Progress Pictures & Next Month Goals : At the end of each month take progress pictures to upload onto the tracker in order to see how you've physically improved at the end of each month as compared to the last. Jot down a couple goals you would like to do next month as well to use as motivation. There is enough room to upload both the previous month's pictures as well as this month's pictures. 
  • Reflection : Use as a personal journal entry to reflect upon your thoughts and feelings of how you thought each month went in terms of your fitness journey.
